Zbigniew Korol, age 67, passed away on September 15, 2026, surrounded by his family.

Zbigniew was born on September 29, 1958, in Wrocław, Poland, to Michał Korol and Waleria Mrozowicka. He spent most of his life in Poland, where he was a business owner and where his family, roots, and memories remained deeply important to him throughout his life.

In December 2005, Zbigniew came to the United States to join his daughter, Karolina, and his longtime partner, Renata, beginning a new chapter of his life while maintaining a strong connection to Poland and the family who remained there.

Zbigniew was family-oriented, funny, and extraordinarily generous. He loved to travel and enjoyed the finer things in life, particularly beautiful watches and quality jewelry. He enjoyed watching Polish television and, perhaps most importantly, was a true connoisseur of flaczki. He appreciated the things that made life enjoyable, but the people he loved remained at the heart of it.

Zbigniew is survived by his daughter, Karolina; his daughter, Natalia; his longtime partner, Renata; his stepson, Adam; his sister, Janina; and his family and loved ones in both the United States and Poland.

Zbigniew’s father, Michał, held a particularly important place in his heart. Although Zbigniew spent the final two decades of his life in the United States, Poland remained home. In accordance with his wishes, his ashes will return to Poland, where he will be laid to rest with his father at Marszowice Cemetery.

Zbigniew’s life crossed an ocean, connecting a family in two countries. In the end, he will return home to a place and family that remained close to his heart throughout his life. He will be deeply missed and remembered with love, laughter, and countless memories on both sides of the Atlantic.
