Beloved son of the late Ignatius and Lottie. Brother of Sister Susan IHM, Daniel, Nancy, Lawrence, Richard,(Rebecca), and Janice. Uncle of Rose, Lenox, Aleksandra, Sean, Kate, and Emily and great uncle of Sloane, Archer and Orlin. Larry was president of the Queen of Apostles Ushers Club and a member of the church for 68 years.

Larry was my a good friend to me, always.
He (Larry) always had welcome and a kind word for me. It would not be at all fair to judge Larry on brief
or limited encounters. You had to have spent lengthy periods of time with him, and get to know him.
You’d come away with the same conclusion as myself——– Larry Rakoczy was gentle poor soul, and a really nice guy! He loved Jesus, his little cat Sanford, his family, and the people in his life…….
I’m gonna miss ya, buddy. Hopefully, you’ll be able to watch the Detroit tiger’s & red wings on t.v. up in
Heaven. I’ll be seeing ya, Larry. Take it easy, man.
