Wayne was a wealth of knowledge of sports trivia and music and would love to test your memory. He was the King of Doo-Wop music and a sports fanatic. He loved baseball, basketball and football and was known to make a bet or two along the way. He was commonly referred to as the “GURU”.
Wayne lived life to the fullest and by his way. He loved to laugh and make you laugh. He loved being with Sandy and having a good time and going on vacations. He loved his sister and brother-in-law and was so happy that he was able to see his California family on July 1st. Wayne was very proud of his two nephews, Chris and Brandon.
Wayne had a wonderful group of friends from grade school to present which he loved having a drink or two with them at different establishments. Wayne will be greatly missed by his family and friends and will remain in our hearts forever.

A unique character in his own way. My ❤️ is broken. Who is going to argue with me this Lion’s season?
HE WAS MY BUDDY , MAYBE 40 OR MORE YEARS. REST IN PEACE, GURU. IN HEAVEN THERE IS NO BEER, THAT’S WHY WE DRINK IT HERE– THAT’S NOT TO SAY THAT THERE’S NO CROWN ROYAL.

Yep many will miss Wayne He was most unique and just a fun buddy. God Bless Wayne and all those who hold him in his heart !!
Marlene, we’re your dad’s neighbors, and just found out about his passing today — we’re so very sorry for your loss. We met you once when you were taking care of something at the house and we asked you how he was doing. We walk all the time, and whenever we saw Wayne sitting on his porch we would stop and talk. We first met him when he still had AC, and remember how much he loved that dog.
After AC died, long stretches would pass without seeing him on the porch, which had us worried, until he told us that most of the time he was with Sandy. We were so glad to know he had a loving companion. Sandy, I don’t recall whether we met, but thank you for being there for him — our condolences on losing your dear partner.
He truly was a character, and we will miss him.
Oh dear, I didn’t proof-read that well enough… Marlene, we’re so sorry about your brother — please forgive the mistake.
