Loving wife of Nickolas and mother of Susan Lubinski, Garilynn (Joseph) Zaleski, Nickolas, and Richard.  Nana of 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.  Sister of Henry, and the late Yvonne and Margaret (Judy).

To Valerie her family was the most important thing in her life.  She was a school teacher at Kosciuszko and worked in the Hamtramck Recreation Department.  She loved baseball being married to Nick.  Valerie even filled in as a coach for Hamtramck Little League and came out victorious against the team her husband was coaching.

A Memorial mass will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 10 AM at
