I only knew Stan for a very short time. I enjoyed the one summer we played golf together. Stan and I had some great talks about many things. He will be missed.
Stan was a pitcher’s shortstop. He was a ball players teammate. He was a friend. Stan will always be a Greyhound, a Bronco, and my kinda sportsman, always ready.
Stan was also a City Champ with the 1966 St Lads Greyhounds. He also wasn’t bad at doing decks either!
See ya at the golf course Stan.
I only knew Stan when he joined our rotating eight golf group on Monday’s at C.L.
He fit right in with our crazy group. It was great playing golf with him.
God bless his family at this time.
Met Stan the first day of freshman year at St. Lads. He sat next to me in English. I can still picture him and that impish smile. The nun who taught us loved Stan and hated me!! We shared many laughs about that. Our friendship spanned all these years. Might I add, Stan was by far the coolest looking dude at our 50 year class reunion. He had a smile for everyone. He was so proud of his wife and family. Every time I saw him he would update me about his kids. Stan was loved by all who knew him. He will be missed. Really missed.
I knew Stan my whole life. He is my big brother. I love Stan. I love his beautiful smile
He always watched out for me. When we were little he loved smelling my hair and saying “He loved my curly hair”
He was so sweet. A beautiful altar boy ,a great baseball player ( I watched so many baseball games with my dad we were his fans) and a homecoming king.
I was a freshman and he was a senior. I attended a pep rally and they were singing
Walk on King Stan with hope in your heart and you’ll never walk alone
You’ll never walk alone
I hope you remember that and your are walking with the saints and your loved ones
Oh Stan of Stanwood

Hi Germaine. Many years since we attended high school together at St Lads. Many nice memories with you and your family. Sending my sincere sympathy on the death of Stan.
Our heart felt condolences to the Cieslak family one and all.We sat side by side with Stan at many Coughlin Cubs baseball games. Our young sons were team mates. He was a funny, friendly person. Always smiling. We were very lucky to have crossed paths with him and his family.

Jeff and I met Stan and Sue in Canadian Lakes. Stan approached us and we became fast friends. Stan was very out going and down to earth. We are Polish and I have family that grew up in Hamtramk. So I really enjoyed talking to Stand and Sue about that. Stan had funny stories to tell. He was a wise guy too! All around good guy!
Stan was a great athlete but an even better person. May he Rest In Peace. My sincere condolences and prayers for his family.
We’re sure you’ll be missed by family & friends.
Sad to hear of your death.
