Richard Wisz (age 91)
Richard was called to the Lord on September 21, 2021. Loving husband of the late Dolores, he is survived by his son Richard (Robin), Grandson Alexander, Sisters-in-law’s Alice Sosnowski, Constance Dean, Mary Ann Nofz, and Marcy Wisz as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was a graduate of St. Ladislaus High School (their left-handed quarterback) and the University of Detroit. He also served in the US Army in Germany during the Korean War.
As a life-long member of Our Lady Queen of Apostles parish, he was active in the Parish Council, Ushers and Boy Scout Troop 101. He also helped to establish the parish festival. He was a member of the Cardinal Mercer chapter of the Knights of Columbus and the Polish National Alliance.
While working for TACOM, he was awarded a citation for his work during the First Gulf War.

Your dad and I kept in touch with our Christmas letters. He was a very gracious man. When your mom died, he sent me a beautiful letter which I have kept to this day. Peace and Love. Your cousin Betty Hramiec
