I would like to express my deepest sympathy to Carolyn, Mr. and Mrs. Cartwright and his brother Marty. I have known Jeremy sice he first came to HHS and we worked closely in the Science Department as well as coaching. It is very sad that someone so young has passed away and there are no words that can make sense of this.
I would just like to say, Jeremy was a great guy and a very good person. I will miss sharing laughs with him at lunch. We had alot of fun talking about our families and sports.
God grant you all strength at this very difficult time.
Sincerely,
Mark Nezich

Bill and Linda, so sorry to hear of your loss. I wasn’t fortunate enough to know the man that he had become. I only recall the little boy who used to fall asleep under Ken & Tillie’s kitchen table while massaging my feet while we were playing cards. May your fondest memories make your heart smile. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

My deepest sympathies to you and your family. Carolyn, always know that you are one of the lucky people on the planet, because you were truly loved. Jeremy was always there for his friends, either with advice or a funny story to lift their spirits, to say he will be missed is an understatement. Rest In Peace my friend.
So sorry to hear of Jeremy’s passing. He always had a kind word and a smile. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
I am certainly sad to learn of Jeremy’s passing. As long-time friends and colleagues at both HHS and Horizon, I continually witnessed how dedicated Jeremy was to the hundreds and hundreds of students and athletes he encountered. Jeremy always supported and cared about needy students and looked out for the underdog. Jeremy also made a positive impact on the Hamtramck community and will be sorely missed. Peace be with Jeremy’s family and may the young man rest easy.
I would like to express my deepest sympathy to Jeremy’s wife – Mrs. Cartwright and Jeremy’s family members. I have known Jeremy for numerous years at HHS. I wish the best for his wife and family members during this difficult time, He was a very good man and a person who was a great help to many others.
Sincerely,
Dennis Bargowski

First and foremost I am sorry for the worlds loss. Mr. Cartwright , Coach Cartwright was an outstanding male influence in my life and surely countless others . Learning only of his passing by chance , I cannot help but recall many great memories of this man. Forever thankful for the presence and impact he made on my life as young ,cocky and ignorant man. Lessons of discipline, heart and moral courage where most people turned away. I hope I can carry on a legacy of what you passed to me.
Very Respectfully
William Schultz
