Helene is survived by her soul mate of 33 years, Brian Stachowicz. She leaves behind her parents, Terrence and Virginia, brother Paul (Renee), uncles Tom and Tim (Bonnie), and nephews Nathan and Christopher. Private services were held by family and a memorial mass will be held at a later date.

So sorry to Brian my nephew in the loss of his soulmate of 33 years. You took good care of Helene.
I loved Helene with all my heart like a niece.
We shared many laughs and tears together.
So sorry Virgie and Terry … the loss of your beautiful daughter…

She was a Courageous Uplifting Hard working, loving, compassionate young woman…
Helene will be joining my parents … passing on the same day…

This is a tribute to Terry and Virginia who raised a kind, generous, and loving daughter. Helene fought a brave and courageous battle against the cancer that she faced. She never lost faith and hope that a cure was possible, going through all the treatments available to her. Even when she was placed in home hospice and with the loving care of Brian she fought the disease. The last time I sat with her she told me that she had a dream about Bushia. If my mom came to her, then I know she is with the Saints and Angels. Eternal rest grant unto her oh Lord, and let the perpetual light shine on her. May she rest in peace.
