Neal A. Bauer (age 64)

Beloved husband of Frances (neé Spraga) was born May 2, 1959 in Salina Kansas to the late Bill and Nora.  Neal is survived by his daughter Sherry and his brother Jay in Hawaii.

Neal was known and loved by a lot of people.  He loved to do woodworking, home repairs, NASCAR, model race cars, comic books, and family gatherings where he loved to cook.  Neal was his own person, stern but loving.  He loved the family cat, Katirah.  Neal was a semi-truck driver and also worked for the Detroit Machinery Center.  He was fun loving and loved the holiday season, especially Christmas, Thanksgiving and Easter.  He enjoyed making others happy.

Neal beat cancer in 2021 and was in a nursing home of late and in and out of the hospital.  He passed away Saturday at 2:30 am at Ascension Hospital in Warren.  He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

The family will have private services and asks that in lieu of flowers please donate to a charity of your choice in Neal’s memory.  He would really appreciate that very much.
